The 2010 FIRST Robotics Competition season begins on January 9, 2010.
The Kickoff will be a world wide simultaneous telecast beamed from FIRST HQ in Manchester, NH. We will be viewing this from The LaSells Stuart Center located on the Oregon State University campus. This event will begin at 6 AM. At 6:30 AM we will be welcomed by a speaker, Professor Jonathon Hurst of the OSU Mechanical Engineering Department. At 7AM the telecast will begin. It is important that we be on time and respectful to our host as the venue was provided at the expense of his department. After the Kickoff event we will head back to CV to start the design process.
Make sure you fill out the FIRST Consent Form if you have not filled it out yet! The link to the form is here.
Condensed version:
6:15AM arrive at LeSalles with signed Consent & Release form
9:30AM drop your student at CV
3:00PM pick up your student from CV
If you are unable to attend the kickoff, you can watch the presentation online here.
